A collection of my daily thoughts... most of the time.

| Alright... |

So I haven't posted in a while... Not much has been going on except laziness. I hopefully start my job next week at Hermitage as a teaching assistant. That all rides on the county's ability to call me back.. I don't know if it is possible for them to honor such an unreasonable request. We shall see.. Sarcasm, people, sarcasm. Yea, I am not too sure what the deal is with my comments. They sorta just disappeared. Eh. No one commented anyways. If you really feel the need to comment, e-mail me. Otherwise, just read and be happy.

I went across country with amanda earlier this summer. We caught a ben folds concert on the way. It was an amazing trip, but there are too many details to bother typing in this thing. If you are interested, just ask me about it sometime. We had a great time.

My last season on the Lakeside Swim Team is here. I must say that it will be a sad, sad night when I stand up on the blocks for my last race. As much as it consumes every summer of mine, and as much as I complain about it - it is really what defines my summer. I cannot help thinking about swim team when I think about summer. I will miss it. Meets are on monday nights if you are interested and coming out and cheering for us.

Summer dancing has begun. We went contra dancing a couple of weekends ago. It was a blast. Anyone interested, let me know. I cannot wait to go again. It is just a lot of fun for $3. Man, you can't beat that.

I am considering a dual major in aerospace engineering and mathematics. This is a change from what I was doing before (just aerospace). It will require a crazy amount of additional work that the aerospace department deems "worthless," but I think it is really what I want to do. It will help me out in the long run when I want to go into teaching and I have always been more interested in the math behind things than the actual experimental part. I think a math degree will really add some umph to my resume and it will help to balance my interests at school. I was looking at all of the scheduling this morning, and it looks like its going to work. I will take a day trip to Tech later this week to talk with my math professor and declare the math major. woo.

If you still read this, you are awesome. I post so irregularly that I cannot imagine anyone still checking this to see if I have posted. But if you have, I commend you.

I am getting pretty excited about the next semester at Tech. I will be in my first apartment and I will have to focus on things like cooking, cleaning, and time management a whole lot more. It is pretty exciting. Not to mention the classes I have signed up for just really appeal to me. It should be a good semester. Loooooots of hard work, but good. I think that is all for today. Perhaps I will post more later. perhaps.

oh and rachel, I dont have 6 current favorite songs. I would post them in here if I did though. Only cause you called me out in your journal. :-P So, I suppose I am saying this as proof to you that I read and thought about your recent entry.

I hope everyone is having a nice summer.
