So I've been home a week now and I can't really say that I have done much at all. I have begun one of my "winter projects," which is completely redoing our dining room. Since I'm not getting a real job over break, I reached an agreement with my mom to paint the dining room and stuff instead. We are I am painting the room a deep red with the ceiling and trim a nice creme color. I just finished the THIRD coat of red today... man it's a pain in the butt. This particular color really shows any discoloration or uneveness and makes my job a lot harder. Oh well, I've gotten through with the red- that's the last coat of red I am putting on there cause I figure if it's not good enough by the THIRD coat, then it's never gonna be good enough. I get to take all of that blue tape down tomorrow and take the day off from painting while I let that red stuff really, really dry. Then I will begin priming and painting the trim. We are also putting up crown molding(sp?), which should look pretty cool. Other than that, I have been pretty bored the past week, but now that people are coming home I should be pretty occupied. I also went to UVA monday and spent the night with amanda and ashley in order to help them study for their calc final. I don't think we really got through too much material, but amanda says it was helpful. If anything, it was a stress reliever. It was fun.

So here is what the week looks like....

Monday: class at 11:15, then back to study for my chem test
Tues: 8:00am engineering class, then final chem test- must get A or B to secure an A for the semester and exempt me from that bitch of an exam
Weds: History final along with vector geometry final
Thurs:............... study for engineering?... nah. oh, and linear algebra final
Friday: Engineering final

Then I'm on break (assuming I get that A in chemistry) If I don't get that A, then I'm here until my chem exam which takes place on the following Tues.

We'll see how all of that goes...
